Autograph Letter Signed to Lady Millicent [Bence-Jones], 1 page 12mo, R[oyal] I[nstitution], 26 December 1856 Sending tickets to the Royal Institution lectures in return for the kindesses he has received from Lady Millicent's family.
Henry Bence-Jones (1814-1873) was an accomplished physician and chemist who devoted himself to the applications of chemistry to pathology and medicine. He was to become (in 1860) secretary of the Royal Institution.
