CARLETON, Sir Guy, Baron Dorchester (1724-1808). British Commander-in-Chief in America; governor of Quebec.
Document Signed ('Dorchester'), partially printed and completed by hand, 1 page folio, Quebec, 4 November 1793. A warrant for payment of £638 19s 6d to Isaac Hesselburg, Paymaster of H.M. 60th Regiment of Foot for two months payment of the troops and subsistence.
A 4to sheet attached to the inside of the document has details of the payments to be made to the troops (from £1 2s for the sergeants to 19s 6p for the privates).
