Typewritten Letter Signed ('George') to F G Miles, 1 page 4to, embossed coronetted writing paper, autograph superscript & subscription, Buckinghamshire, 5 September 1940. Thanking Miles for the luncheon and visit to the aircraft factory ('I hope that your initiative will be rewarded in the case of the new fighter that you have built').
Miles was Managing Director of the Phillips & Powis Aircraft Company Ltd of Reading.
