CHERUBINI, Luigi (1760-1842). Italian composer.
Autograph Letter Signed (initials) in French to his wife ('Ma chere Cecile'), 1 page 16mo, addressed 'Madame Cherubini') on the second leaf, ca 1840. Returning the tickets which he had been keeping for Mme. ?Barte and the children, so that she could re-use them.
Cécile Cherubini, née Tourette, daughter of a former musician of the French Chapel Royal, had married the composer in 1794.
