Document signed in the name of the King by Frederick, Duke of York, Henry Addington ('Sidmouth'), and others, 1 page folio (oblong) on vellum. With white embossed paper seal and blue revenue stamp (somewhat soiled), given at Whitehall, 7 October 1821. Appointing John Matthews Quartermaster to the Thirty-fifth (or the Sussex) Regiment.
