Typewritten Letter Signed ('Edward') to Commander Sir Jameson Boyd Adams ('Dear Bill'), 1 page 4to with envelope, 85 rue de la Faisanderie, Paris XVI, 4 October 1951. Thanking him for his note and message of sympathy and explaining that he had had a very busy week in London and was not therefore able to see Boyd Adams as he had wished.
'... Its too bad the book you edited entitled "Our Way of Life" hasn't sold well. But I am glad to have the copy you sent me in the spring, the receipt of which I am afraid I have not acknowledged. ...'
