Autograph Letter Signed to his lawyer Labois, 1 page 8vo with integral address-leaf and red wax seal, ?1 May 1833. Discussing a legal action, asking for news of his dealings with Beauvais, suggesting that Barbier should stop all proceedings 'a mon prejudice' and asking about time limitations on legal actions.
The legal action referred to was occasioned by the publishing of Corps de droit francais by Galissete in 1828.
