German-born chemist. 2 Autograph Letters Signed to Victor G[ustave] Plarr, editor of 'Men of the Time', 3 pages 8vo, Denbigh Street, London, 14 March 1894 and 13 April 1899. In the first letter asking that no changes be made to his text, and in the second asking for the insertion of 'The Inventor of Melinite'. '... Hoping you feel not compelled to alter my paper in any material way and to let me have a proof of it as soon as possible so that I may dismiss this subject from my mind.'
