CRABBE, George (1754-1832). Poet.
Autograph Letter Signed to 'Mr Hewitt / Old Hummans / Covent Garden', 1 page 8vo with address-leaf (seal-tear repaired), Hampstead, 19 July 1828. Making arrangements to come into Town (from Hampstead, presumably) and asking for directions as to where to sleep in Hewitt's house ('as you were kind enough to promise when I saw you').

Together with a letter of Crabbe's son, also George (1785-1857, clergyman and writer) to Mrs Jones, 2 pages 8vo, Bredfield, 'Wednesday Morning', no date, sending specimens of wild flowers and commenting on them.
