ROBINSON, Richard, 1st Baron Rokeby (bap. 1708-1794). Church of Ireland archbishop of Armagh.
Autograph Letter Signed ('R Armagh') to [Thomas Percy] Bishop of Dromore, 1 page 4to with integral address-leaf, 'H & Wells Bristol', 25 June 1787. Enlisting Percy's help on his 'Trienniel Visitation', asking for lodging for himself and others.

Thomas Percy (1729-1811) became bishop of Dromore (Northern Ireland) in 1782 and spent the rest of his life there. His most important publication, the Reliques of ancient English poetry ... had been first published in 1765.
