Autograph Letter Signed ('I.K. Brunel') to Charles Stevens, 1 page 8vo (section cut from the upper right hand corner and smaller piece at left hand edge affecting two words), no date. Some splitting in the folds, the address (name only) on the integral leaf indicating that the letter was delivered by hand. From 18 Duke Street, 'March' only remaining of the date.

Concerning contracts evidently for the Great Western Railway.
'... The contracts must be kept separate Chadwick [is] to sign them and therefore we have consequences in the tender but if you wish it he will make fresh tenders - £20000 a piece.'
