KEMBLE, Charles (1775-1854). Actor, theatre manager and playwright.
Autograph Letter Signed to unnamed correspondents ('Gentlemen'), 1 page 4to (inlaid, dampstained and rather brittle), 29 Soho Square, 17 May 1823. Confirming that he is uncertain about the current whereabouts of a silver tripod presented to his deceased brother, and that his widow may have passed it to another acquaintance.

It is likely that he is referring to his brother Stephen George Kemble (1758-1822), another actor and theatre manager in the Kemble dynasty.
