Document Signed as king, 1 page folio on vellum with papered seal, given at Carlton House, 23 June 1825, countersigned by Robert Peel as home secretary. Appointing Eaton Monins (b. 1795) captain in the 52nd or Oxfordshire regiment of foot commanded by general Sir George Townshend Walker. Sir George Townshend Walker (1764-1842) had been appointed commander-in-chief at Madras in May 1825.
