King of Great Britain, Ireland and the dominions etc. Document Signed at the head, 2 pages folio with paper seal, given at St James's, 18 February 1915, countersigned 'For Great Master' by Kitchener. Granting to Robert Fanshawe the 'dignity of a companion (Military division) of the Order of the Bath'. Fanshawe (1863-1946) was a General during World War I, commanding the South Midland Division from 1915 to 1918. He fought at Ypres, the Somme and Ancre.
