CHRISTIE, Agatha (1891-1976). Novelist.
Typewritten Letter Signed ('Agatha Christie') to [E. Stanley] Jones, 1 page small 4to, Winterbrook House, Wallingford, 24 January 1973. With a typewritten list of all her books, referred to in the letter, on 2 pages folio.

'... The title of my first book is, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, published in 1920, as you will see from the enclosed list. You may find that some of my books are temporarily out of print, but they are reprinted in paper back editions from time to time.'

It would appear that Agatha Christie may have made a habit of supplying lists of her books to enthusiasts who had written to her, but they are rarely found on the market with the accompanying letter.
