Autograph Letter Signed to Daisy [Drinkwater], wife of the poet, 2 pages 8vo (note of identication in ballpoint at the foot of the second page), Gray's Inn, 27 March [1937]. A touching letter of sympathy on the death of her husband.

'... John had seemed so well and high-hearted at my dinner a week before, & now my last memory of him will be, how kind he was to me on that evening & how he entered into my feelings & rejoiced with me. ...'
