GOODALL, Joseph (1760-1840). Provost of Eton.
Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent, 1 page 4to (small tears in the folds), Lodge, Eton College, 20 November 1836. Thanking his correspondent for the gift of a book about coins, which he had been seeking for two years, and mentioning some of the coins in his own collection.

'... I hope you contrived to see the New Royal Library, a Sight which I have not yet enjoyed as when invited by his Majesty to meet Lord Wellesley and take a long Spell, I was unfortunately engaged ...'
