BYRON, George Gordon, Lord (1788-1824). Poet.
Autograph address-panel, to a correspondent (?Banner) in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, signed in the lower left hand corner 'Byron', and dated 17 May 1814. Traces of former mounting to each corner on the reverse, one small fragment missing from upper right hand corner..

The original letter to which this address belongs is not recorded in Byron's Letters and Journals, ed. by Leslie A. Marchand; no letters of this date appear to be known and the correspondent appears also to be unrecorded.
