3 Autograph Letters Signed to W Shearing, 5 pages 8vo, 6 St Giles's, Oxford and the Precincts, Canterbury, August to December 1888.
In the first letter agreeing to give a lecture on the religion of Assyria, in the second announcing that he would be unable to fulfill his engagement, and in the third admitting to some embarrassment over the publication of the lecture ('I have made a use of former publications of my own').
