Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent ('Cher ami'), 1 page 8vo with blank leaf (pencilled note of idenitifcation on the reverse, no place, no date. Suggesting Holy Thursday as he has nothing to do at the Medeleine on that day.

Fauré was organist of L'église de la Madeleine from 1896 to 1905. The organ had originally been built by Aristide Cavaille-Coll in 1845.
