Autograph Letter Signed to M[ichael] D[avenport] Hill (1792-1872, penal reformer), 1 page 8vo on embossed monogrammed writing paper (glue-stained), Blackheath Park, 1 March 1867. Concurring with Hill's judgement on the Bankruptcy Court officers, and promising to bear them in mind 'when the Bill reaches the proper stage in Committee'. Hill was, at this time, commissioner of the Bristol and district court of bankruptcy. [No: 25662]
