THACKERAY, Anne (1837-1919). Novelist.
Autograph Letter Signed to Robinson, 3 pages 8vo (soiled), 'Thursday', no date. Asking her to tear up her previous cheque as she has sent one directly to Miss Trulock, and apologising for troubling him.

Miss Trulock was governess to the young Thackeray girls from 1848. She was the daughter of Parisian acquaintances of their father and was considered by him to be a 'superior person'.
