QUIROGA, Antonio (1783-1841). Spanish military hero.
Letter Signed to Lord Fitzroy Somerset (1788-1855) first Baron Raglan), 1 page 4to (creased), 5 Wellesley Street, Chelsea, 23 September 1828. Informing Raglan that he was leaving the country temporarily to visit his sick sister in Antwerp.

Quiroga was at this time exiled in London after the capitulation of his troops to the French army in La Coruna. He was repatriated to Spain after the death of Ferdinand VII.
