Autograph Letter Signed to Lord Wolseley, 3 pages 8vo with envelope, Scarletts, Colchester (blind stamp), 3 October (postmark 1886). Telling him that there had been a mix-up over dates, and endeavouring to re-arrange an engagement.
'... I find that the officers who told me I was wanted to attend their Private Theatricals on 13th have altered their day to 12th and advertised it! If you cannot change your day I shall hold to the 12th. ...'
