Envelope front addressed in Dickens's hand to Lady Holland at 25 Brook Street, the signature from the lower left hand corner removed. Postmark 25 November 1864, laid down on the remains on an album leaf. No letters from Dickens to Lady Holland in 1864 are recorded in the Pilgrim Edition of The Letters.
