TENNIEL, Sir John (1820-1914). Artist and illustrator. Autograph Letter Signed to Mrs Robb, 2 pages 8vo, 10 Portsdown Road, Maida Hill, 25 June 1888. Thanking Mrs Robb for sending pheasants' eggs, and assuring her for some of them were 'devoured with the liveliest satisfaction. But it really seems to me to be almost a wickedness (!) to eat them, so I am thinking of hatching them in the kitchen oven, and starting a 'Pheasant Farm' on the roof of my house'.
