DYER, Sir William Turner Thislelton- (1843-1928). Botanist. 2 Autograph Letters Signed to an unnamed correspondent ('Dear Sir') & Mr Silver (probably the same), 6 pages 8vo, Kew, April and July 1884. Requesting his opinion on a new specimen of gum, and in the earlier letter explaining that 'We have a small students' garden where a typical series of plants is cultivated from which specimens may be taken.
