Autograph Letter Signed to the German critic [Ernst Robert] Curtius, 1½ pages 4to, 16 October 1936.
A friendly letter arranging to meet Curtius again in Paris; he will not see him at the gathering arranged by 'Charlie D.B.', where there will be too many other friends, 'De plus l'anniversaire de mon mariage va me rappeler à Cuverville pour quelques jours. He therefore invites Curtius and his wife to tea on another day with 'Mme Théo' [Rysselberghe].
