DOYLE, Sir Arthur Conan (1859-1930). Creator of Sherlock Holmes.
Brief early Autograph Letter Signed on a card to F[rederick] B[azett] Doveton, with envelope, Bush Villa, [Southsea], 3 July 1890. Thanking him for 'the little book which I am sure that I shall thoroughly enjoy'.
Doveton, a cousin of Rider Haggard, was the author of numerous works in verse and prose.
