COLMAN, George, the younger (1762-1836). Playwright and theatre manager.
Autograph note ('G.C.') to R[obert] W[illiam] Elliston, ½-page 8vo with integral blank, 5 Melina Place, 'Tuesday Evg.' no date, watermark 1821. Playfully using Shakespeare to extract an answer from his fellow playwright and manager. Thee are a few pencilled annotations, two suggesting the impossible date of 1811.
