Expressing regret that her correspondent is not in good health, and referring to an accident which had befallen the two of them: the Queen states that she does not regret the experience, it having caused her more fear than hurt and serving only to prove God's goodness to them in preserving them from being wounded by broken glass, and also conveys the best wishes of the King, who urges her to look after herself.
Provenance: from a collection formed by A.M. Broadley in 1903.
