COBBETT, William (1763-1835). Politican writer and farmer.
Autograph Letter Signed to the postmaster at Ash, 1 page 8vo with address-leaf (franked by Cobbett), Bolt Court, 12 June 1826.
'Be so good as to get some boy to carry the enclosed to Mr. Dean as quickly as possible, and he will give the boy 6d. I beg this of you as a great favour, the letter being on particular business.'
At the close of his long life Cobbett had taken the lease of a farm at Normandy, near Ash in Surrey, where died on 18 June 1835.
