BERRY, Mary (1763-1852). Author.
Five Autograph Letters Signed, two of them brief notes, 12 pages 8vo, 1846 and 1850 where dated with an Autograph Letter Signed from her sister Agnes Bury 29 July 1849.
Three of the letters are long and gossipy, to Mrs [?Sarah] Austin and Mrs Lamb, discussing numerous mutual friends and their homes, continental travels etc. A shorter note is to [John] Murray in Albemarle Street. Agnes Berry writes to Miss Parry with an account of 'our Petersham marriage ... the Bride & the little ugly Bridegroom in the middle of it all'.
Provenance: from a collection formed by A.M. Broadley in 1903.
