Autograph Letter Signed ('Charlotte Maria Bury') to Lady Jersey, 2 pages 4to (soiled on the reverse, one split in the folds), Winchester, 30 May 1825. Pressing her to obtain a subscription at Almack's for Louisa Poulter ('niece of the late Bishop of Winchester consequently a near relation of all the Norths')
 Almack's Assembly Rooms was a London social club open to both men and women. It was governed by a powerful group of women, among them Sarah Villiers, Countess of Jersey.
