CHARLES EDWARD STUART (1720-1788). The Young Pretender.
Autograph Letter Signed ('Conte d'Albanie') in French, to Le Conte Alberti at Florence, ½-page 4to with address-leaf with red wax seal, Florence, 12 February 1783. Asking him to renew his prayers to the duke of Tuscany for 'La Liberte de Luis faire, par Votre Voi'. The ink feathered from biting into the paper, but no holes.
 The Count of Albany was one of the titles that Charles used when in exile in Italy.
