Document Signed ('approved G.R.' in an unsteady hand and smudging of ink), 1 page 4to with integral docketed second leaf, no place, 17 October 1805. Requesting approval for the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Torrens of the 86th Regiment as 'an Assistant Adjutant General upon the Staff of Great Britain'.
A pencilled note states 'to be notified to the A.G.', and confirmation in ink on the second leaf that notification had taken place on the 21st of October.
