GEORGE III (1738-1820). King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Document Signed ('approved G.R.' in a shaky hand), 1 page 4to with integral docketed second leaf, no place, 1 July 1805. Requesting approval for M[ajor] General Mann of the Royal Engineers be placed upon the staff of Great Britain and Ireland.
A pencilled note states 'to be notified to A[djutant].G[eneral]. & Lord Chatham' with confirmation in ink on the docket that notification has taken place.
