BETJEMAN, Sir John (1906-1984). Poet laureate.
Autograph Postcard Signed (initials), to Graham Watson of Curtis Brown Ltd, Cornwall, 12 March 1973. The picture on the card depicts Rock in Cornwall.
Betjeman's writing at this late period of his life is virtually illegible, but the card evidently relates to Metroland, his film about suburban London, announces his impending return to London, and names his new secretary.
