Recommending the music of Emanuel Aguilar ('the brother of that excellent Grace Aguilar, whose works you know , & whose death you may remember, seemed to human reason much too early.')
The music of Emanuel Aguilar does not seems to have passed the test of time. He was, however, presumably the same who was co-author of The Ancient Melodies of the Liturgy of the Spanish and Portuguese Jews, London 1857.
