Typewritten Letter Signed to Basil Gregg, 1 page 4to, Elberton, Woodstock Road, Golders Green, 10 April 1911. Discussing the national debt, and explaining his method of calculating its cost to the individual.
'... the amount of the cost of Wars and the cost of the Army and Navy and also the interest upon the National Debt during the 19th. century was Five thousand millions of pounds.
  '... This year the cost of Army, Navy, and National Debt interest is £100,000,000. Taking the population of the United Kingdom at 45,000,000 this gives 9,000,000 families. You can from this work out the average cost per week per family ...'
