Document Signed, 1 page large folio on vellum, partially printed and completed by hand, 26 April 1842. Signed as second secretary of the Admiralty, appointing Thomas James Barrow (perhaps a relation) mate of Her Majesty's Ship the Winchester.
Countersigned by Sir W[illiam] H[all] Gage (1777-1864) and W. Gordon.
