Printed acknowledgement of a message of sympathy on the death of Gandhi from Devadas Gandhi 'and family', postcard sized, New Delhi, 1 March 1948. With a photograph of Gandhi surrounded by four of his grandchildren and others.
On the reverse in pencil is the name of Ronald Duncan, presumably the writer (1914-1982), who had visited Gandhi in India in 1936 and subsequently started a community farm during the Second World War.
