Fine Document Signed ('George R.' at the head), 1 page folio (oblong, on vellum), papered seal and revenue stamps, partly printed, St James's, 2 August 1769. Appointing John McDonald lieutenant in the sixty-sixth regiment of foot commanded by Adam Gordon. Countersigned by Lord Hillsborough. In fine clean condition.
