Regretfully declining an invitation to lunch ('I am already engaged that day - I am so sorry'). '... Its [sic] too bad that your daughter has to be away a year in Washington though I'm sure that if one has to live abroad the United States is the best place. ...'The former Margot Tennant, who had married H.H.
