Early Autograph Letter Signed ('G. Bernard Shaw') on a postcard (chipped, with some loss on the left) to E.R. Pease of the Fabian Society, 29 Fitzroy Square, 14 October 1895. Explaining that he was booked up and could make no commitment to Hull.
'Tell Graham I have all my Sundays engaged to the end of January.
 'I have written to the Hull people, declining to make any condition or provisional arrangements. They had better make up their minds to someone else. ...'
