Wartime Typewritten Letter Signed to George FitzPatrick, Public Relations Consultant for the Government of Tasmania, 1 page large 4to with envelope, 29 October 1943. Writing from the General Headquarters, Southwest Pacific Area, MacArthur thanks him for his letters, adding that 'Such expressions cheer me in the hard load I have to bear.'
'... Things are going well with us considering the limited resources available and with God's help I hope to keep moving on.'
