Document Signed, 1 page folio (oblong) on vellum with remains of papered seal (wax only) and blue revenue stamps, given at Kensington, 30 September 1746. A commission for Abel Herteleu as ensign in the foot regiment commanded by John Guise, lieutenant-general of the forces. Countersigned by Lord Harrington and by two functionaries. Abel Herteleu was probably a French refugee. [No: 22948]
