GEORGE II (1683-1760). King of Great Britain and Ireland. Elector of Hanover.
Document Signed, 1 page folio (oblong) on vellum with remains of papered seal (wax only) and blue revenue stamps, given at Kensington, 30 September 1746. A commission for Abel Herteleu as ensign in the foot regiment commanded by John Guise, lieutenant-general of the forces. Countersigned by Lord Harrington and by two functionaries.
Abel Herteleu was probably a French refugee.
