Autograph Letter Signed with a small autograph quotation to [John E.] Borland, 4 pages 8vo, Segenbalm, 21 Fawley Road, 19 December 1906. An attractive and friendly letter prompted by Borland's wish to use one of Davies's compositions.
'This arrangement is the hymn tune adaptation which I sold to Revd. Garrett Horder, Manse, Ealing W. The tenor on p. 61, line 2, bars 3 and 4, is hideous: I cannot believe I ever wrote that ...'
