Sending money for her train fare ('I forgot to put it in my letter'). The envelope addressed to Miss Imogen Darrell Waters at Benenden School, Cranbrook, Kent. Enid Blyton's second daughter, Imogen Mary, had been born Imogen Pollock on 27 October 1935 during her mother's first marriage, to Major Hugh Alexander Pollock. Enid subsequently divorced Pollock and in 1943 married Kenneth Fraser Darrell Waters, after which she changed the surnames of her daughters. '...
