Document Signed by both ('George R' at the head, 'W Pitt' at the foot), 1 page large folio (oblong, some foxing), given at Saville House, 27 October 1760. Appointing John Brown Lieutenant General of 'all and singular Our forces, as well Horse, as Foot, employed or to be employed in Our Service'.
This attractive vellum document, with embossed paper seal, was given on the second day of the new King's reign.
